What we are looking for:

Progress Learning, LLC is seeking a sales professional to join our growing team. The New Sales Account Executive is responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas within a territory of states that this person will have full revenue oversight over. The New Sales AE will be responsible for all new logo sales to individual school buildings and school districts in their defined group of states, selling our supplemental learning platform on an annual subscription basis. This person will be required to prospect leads, with the support of a Business Development Representative, who will also prospect, qualify, and set appointments to build the top-of-funnel opportunities for the new sales AE. This is a mid-level sales role with a competitive salary plus commission.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Hit monthly quota targets for new sales set by the company, within the territory defined.
  • Build territory plans each quarter to hit quota targets, including outreach, target accounts, activity metrics, and support from other areas of the business.
  • Maintain a high level of sales activity including 70-100 calls per day and at least 10 sales demos per week.
  • Manage the customer lifecycle from first touch to closed-won; carry out and lead all necessary sales activities within to maximize the number of new deals, average order value, and lifetime value of the sale once it goes to account management.
  • Collaborate with team members to maximize opportunities created, optimize sales activities and processes, and execute the company’s sales playbooks to maximize revenue from new sales.
  • Work with sales and marketing leadership to develop strategies and go-to-market campaigns within your designated territory, optimizing for both in-month revenue targets and longer-range pipeline building.

Required Skills:

  • Experience working in a Mac environment
  • K12 Education Experience a plus
  • Experience managing sales pipelines within Salesforce
  • Experience running sales sequences via Outreach or Salesloft is a plus
  • Experience with inside sales
  • Phone-based sales experience
  • Strong follow-up skills

About You:

  • Have at least 3-5 years of experience in a consultative B2B, B2C, or SaaS sales role
  • Have a desire to work with an awesome product that you can sell with enthusiasm
  • Have a proven track record of sales success
  • Prior experience selling E-learning or software solutions is strongly preferred
  • Ability to sell in a variety of contexts, including emails, phone calls, events, in-person sales pitches, and other industry meetings
  • Strong organizational skills that result in the completion of daily tasks and successfully meeting all goals
  • A desire to be the CEO of your territory!
