Opportunity Description:
Our client is currently working with a major branch of the DoD to continue modernization of their critical Financial and Procurement systems. Specifically, the program is tasked with moving various client operations onto a single instance SAP ERP platform across standard reporting, Budgeting, GL and related feeder systems. This is a multi-year program encompassing large scale teams working on SAP ERP Requirements Definition, Legacy System transition to SAP, Training & Change Management and Sustainment Support. The SAP solution scope includes DoD specific processes aligned with SAP ECC solution components across FI, CO, FM, PS, AM, WFM, MM/IM, WM, SD.
Job Description:
- Partner with leadership to facilitate visible and active sponsorship of changes including planning and facilitating workshops and meetings to introduce concepts of SAP and changes in business processes.
- Tailor Government provided communications plan and artifacts to BSO/Command requirements and deliver strategic and ad-hoc communications with information related to ERP products and services [i.e. a newsletter in support of the transition focused on key stakeholders as well as other relevant communication artifacts].
- Provide support in implementing Organizational Change Management Strategy [i.e. support Change Agent Network meetings, assist with organizational redesign, support change impact assessments, facilitating change management activities] within the affected BSO key stakeholders and system users in support of the transition of the Command into ERP.
- Support the management and development of all internal and external communications and correspondence for the Division. Assist with the coordination of stakeholder engagements and ensures messaging is in alignment with ERP system migration business strategies. Develop presentation materials, reports, and metrics as requested.
- Work with leadership on people-side/Organizational Readiness impacts from Cutover planning and Go Live Readiness.
- Perform user role mapping and coordinate user access provisioning understanding General Fund and Working Capital Fund requirements as requested. Work with ERP technical resources to include resolving access related issues as well as non-production access related to Mocks and Cutover Practice as requested.
- Identify and support additional user qualification requirements and coordinate with ERP technical resources for role mapping as requested.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of proven experience providing strategic or technical expertise leading large, complex SAP engagements for Federal Government agencies or Fortune 500 companies.
- Demonstrated SAP process and functional knowledge related to the use an application of SAP components such as PS. FM, MM/IM, WM, FI-GL, CO, SD-OTC, WFM with specific experience with DoD and/or SAP Public Sector Industry solution strongly preferred.
- Knowledgeable in coordinating across multiple organizations, risk and issue management, and managing multiple priorities. Knowledge should also include financial management systems architecture and solution design, data conversion, cutover, change management, system security and audit controls.
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate technical field.
- Active or Interim Secret clearance.
